What started with a round of golf almost 10 years ago led to the formation of the Wine of Course limited company, which we didn’t know that at the time

Magnus, Nirmal and Fredrik had known each other for many years but on different levels. Long-standing business relationship was what brought them together to Barsebäck’s golf and country club that day.

Our biggest interest and our common denominator was really good wine. (We can put the golf game aside.)

The dream of being able to import and sell really good wines to Sweden came true in 2019 when the possibility of cooperation in Moldova appeared. We visited vineyards, we tasted and we smelled and we quickly found our favorites for the Swedish market. Then the pandemic hit and the business idea with Moldova fell apart, but our dream lived on.

A couple of years later we had the chance to get the agency for the fine Ceazar Winery from Hungary, first class wines at prices to suit all budgets. That Ceazar’s wines are extra close to our hearts is revealed no less by Nirmal’s surname.

We have different backgrounds, everything from building a well-functioning wholesaler, being a restaurateur, running a hotel and guesthouse with a renowned wine cellar, trained sommeliers to selling and marketing wine full-time, we create a great starting point. Wine of course is run by us, three wine geeks with a passion for good food and drink.

The company name? It was simple, for the given answer to the question;

”What do we drink with the meal?” – Wine of course!
